Murmur – <\/span>Hannes Lingens, caisse claire
\n<\/span>Le terme anglais \u201cmurmur\u201d se traduit en allemand par \u201cmureln\u201d, qui veut aussi dire \u201cbilles\u201d. Ces petites billes de verre courant le long du rebord de ma caisse claire dans cette pi\u00e8ce cache les v\u00e9ritables changements dans la musique. Comme les murmures de quelqu\u2019un, ces changements sont durs \u00e0 suivre exactement, avec le son constant de la rotation toujours en premier plan. Il me semblait logique de sortir cette pi\u00e8ce sur vinyl, la platine elle-m\u00eame faisant penser \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de rotation.<\/p>\n

No Rest for the Astronaut – <\/span>Pierre Borel, saxophone
\nJ\u2019ai enregistr\u00e9 ce solo en septembre 2009. 2 jours d\u2019enregistrement dans ma cave, environ 15 solos, chacun de maximum 7 min (format de 7 pouces). Le mat\u00e9riel utilis\u00e9 \u00e9tait d\u00e9fini d\u2019avance, et seule l\u2019organisation du mat\u00e9riel \u00e9tait improvis\u00e9e. Ce qui m\u2019int\u00e9resse dans ce processus, c\u2019est les relations entre ces diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments, la mani\u00e8re dont ils interagissent (donc la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition joue un r\u00f4le important, le m\u00eame son revenant dans un contexte diff\u00e9rent, sous un jour diff\u00e9rent) et l\u2019organisation formelle de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments.
\nLe solo choisi au final, \u00e9tait celui qui me semblait le moins contr\u00f4l\u00e9 et le plus \u00e9loign\u00e9 du concept initial, ce qui lui donnait un charme particulier.
