Le piano se fond dans la m\u00e9lodie, puis l\u2019improvisation. Jon joue de mani\u00e8re l\u00e9thargique dans un flux m\u00e9lancolique mi-latin, d\u00e9tendant l\u2019auditeur. J\u2019aime son approche, parce que sa fa\u00e7on de pens\u00e9e est tr\u00e8s logique. Les intervalles d\u2019octave contre-ponctuelles fortes et inattendues jou\u00e9es entre la basse et le piano sur la deuxi\u00e8me piste montrent la polyvalence du jeune compositeur. Un son nouveau, soudain, intentionn\u00e9, am\u00e8ne une excitation sur la troisi\u00e8me piste. J\u2019aime la respiration et l\u2019espacement du trio. L\u2019ensemble se d\u00e9place \u00e0 travers l\u2019enchev\u00eatrement d\u2019un rythme de hanche. Ce lien n\u2019est pas rompu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que l\u2019ensemble avance \u00e0 grandes enjamb\u00e9es et se mette \u00e0 swinger, suivant les ponctuations de bon go\u00fbt du batteur. Devin Gray respire la sensibilit\u00e9 et la chaleur tout au long de la pi\u00e8ce. Le bassiste v\u00e9t\u00e9ran Michael Formanek laisse son style arco magistral entra\u00eener l\u2019ordinateur dans une relation amicale tandis que le pianiste saupoudre des couleur claires dans les tons plus aigus. Ils se balancent doucement sur une vamp latin contemporain. Birkholz parle s\u00e9rieusement avec le rythme, puis devient malicieux, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rant sur des gammes dispers\u00e9es.
