Risser/Rühl

In this duo, Eve Risser and Joris Rühl work on sound illusion. To do so, they approach their respective sounds as elements of an alloy: each of them has its own qualities, but their combination alters them, creating new ones. They also try to confuse the listener by working on the form: by stretching the movement in time, they bring the listener to slowly dive into the smallest details of the sound, but now and then, sudden and discreet ruptures bring back the auditor to a more global vision of the structure, hence alternating perceptions of the smallest and the widest.
