Papaver is the debut release of the trio Mirror Mind Rose. A trio of contemporary improvised chamber music formed by the rainfall over Serbia during a mind-blowing tour there in spring 2014. Mirror Mind Rose comprise three unique characters indulged in a continuous redefinition of music. This album is an enigma inviting the listener to take part of its decryption. The sound of febrile thoughts keeping the cerebral chamber in place by guts and hammers.
Mirror Mind Rose overgrow genres, cultural and political borders and with their inhabited generation-shift they put in attention vast experiences heralding Hungarian folk music, jazz, sound and text and various contemporary composed and improvised musics. The name of the trio comes from a composition of the bebop pianist Elmo Hope.
