Umlaut Sweden

Umlaut Sweden is handled by Joel Grip, Jens Linell and Niklas Barnö.

Since 2004 Umlaut Sweden has produced nine CDs including nearly 30 artists from USA, France, Sweden and Japan. Umlaut Sweden has also worked extensively as a tour booking agency and promotion company for the improvised musics. Tours include artists Barre Phillips/Urs Leimgruber/Jacques Demierre (Sweden 2008), Tatsuya Nakatani (Nordic 2007), Gianni Gebbia (Nordic 2007), Protectograph, Donkey Monkey (Sweden - Europe 2007, 2008), Joel Grip solo (world tour 2006), The Jolly-Boat Pirates (USA - Europe 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), Shelly Blake-Plock (Europe 2008) and more. Umlaut Sweden is affiliated with Hagenfesten Art-Flow in Dala-Floda Sweden (festival of creative arts) and with NGO Public Health Music - The Reality Amp (making homeless voices heard).
